Pontianak - Became the regional apparatus that coordinated several event series, starting from welcoming the guests or delegations, to visits on the last day that were done by West Kalimantan Office of Youth, Sports and Tourism. 

The Office of Youth, Sports and Tourism participated in the 25th Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines, East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Ministerial Meeting held in November 23-26, 2022.


The Head of West Kalimantan Office of Youth, Sports and Tourism, Windy Prihastari stated that they maximized BIMP-EAGA to promote tourism and creative economy in West Kalimantan. Windy herself also welcomed all delegation that came on Tuesday (11/22).

All guest, VVIP, VIP, or general guest, were given souvenirs such as scarf and tanjak, which all of them were the product of creative economy of West Kalimantan.

"We gave it to all delegation that arrived at Pontianak Supadio Airport, from the scarf with the sidan woven motive, Sambas songket, and also corak insang," she explained.
Moreover, there was also a photobooth with the background of top tourism destination of West Kalimantan. Not only that, but all guests also visited Tourist Information Center (TIC) while waiting. The facilities provided by the West Kalimantan Office of Youth, Sports and Tourism can also be accessed online via Electronic Tourism Information Centre (eTIC). 

The guests can even experience the 360 degrees virtual tour by using the VR to the tourism destinations in West Kalimantan. Both of eTIC and TIC at Supadio Airport are part of the application MoBile Acceleration Kolaborasi Kepariwisataan Ekraf Pemuda Olahraga (MBAK KEPO).

Not only that but all guests were given exclusive hampers at the Gala Dinner held in the Governor Pavilion on Friday night (11/25). The hampers were prepared by West Kalimantan Dekranasda and West Kalimantan Office of Youth, Sports and Tourism.
