Pontianak – As a real embodiment of the businessmen’s
commitment to BIMP-EAGA regions, three Memorandum of Understanding were signed
in the event series of BIMP-EAGA.
The deal between West Kalimantan and Sarawak Kadin as
well as the deal between East Kalimantan and Sarawak Business Federation
focused on the sector of trade and industry finance, investment, tourism,
health, and other agreed fields.
On the other side, PT Sterilyn Halal Internasional (Indonesia)
and Riza Fudhlana Farmin (Brunei Darussalam) in health, agribusiness, and
fishery also agreed.
The minister of economy, Airlangga Hartarto also
delivered his appreciation to the board of BEBC and other parties for their
efforts to facilitate cross-border trade in order to push the economy in EAGA
regions.
“This will bring many benefits for trade affairs among
Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines,” the minister of
economy, Airlangga stated.
