PONTIANAK – Alfredo Perdiguero (Director of Regional Cooperation of the Asian Development Bank), expresses, Indonesia is one of the country that that is attractive, and have many opportunities. This was conveyed at the end of welcoming dinner senior officials,(11/23).

“Indonesia is an attractive country with many opportunities, many young generation and smart people who are talented. The country is shining, so, I think Indonesia must have to maximize that opportunity, and see how Indonesia can develop further and together protect and maintain the environment,” he said.

Related to the meeting, Alfredo explain what ha been discussed will be continued in the next day, how our countries can work together in BIMP-EAGA. Four BIMP-EAGA countries member will work together, so there will be a lot of development and sustainable progress, he hope.

Furthermore, he said the countries will come to to a good deal. There will be many opportunities in the future. And we want from this meeting, how countries can work together.

“ I think the countries reached a good deal. There will be many opportunities in the future and what we want to from this meeting is how the countries can work together and do many things. West Kalimantan Government, the Governors, etc, you can get better results by cooperating with neighboring countries,” he said.

On the same occasion BIMP – EAGA  delegate from Brunei / Senior Deputy Secretary, Harris Ibrahim said it was very impressive when he arrived at the airport. “ I saw from the airport and I feel the people is kind, and communicative,”

Related to the discussion, Harris Ibrahim said currently only focusing on handling, focusing on sectors where we want to develop together.
