PONTIANAK – The Minister
of Economy, Mr. Airlangga Hartarto opened and attended BIMP-EAGA Business
Council of Business Forum in Pontianak (25/11).
The opening event was symbolized
with the beating of bedug by Minister of Economy, Mr. Airlangga Hartarto
with the Governor of West Kalimantan, Mr. H. Sutarmidji, and Vice Chairman of
Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Bernardio M. Vega.
Business forum is the
series of the 25th Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines
East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Ministerial Meeting. The event was attended
by the officials and the representatives of delegates from Brunei Darussalam,
Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines that was included in BIMP-EAGA.
“Considering this
market, all the relative price of commodity goods: onions, rice, oils, chickens,
are stable,” said Minister of Economy, Mr. Airlangga Hartarto.
He added that the
inflations in West Kalimantan was good in national level and it ranked to 6%
position. “We hope the inflations can be reduced in the future with the secure
supplies and the appropriate price,” Minister of Economy explained.
